Basil Mimosas

Ingredients

12oz can of Orange Juice
1 C Basil leaves
3 C Water
½ C Lemon juice
½ C Sugar
Champagne or GingerAle

Instructions

Combine orange juice, water and chopped basil leaves. Let steep for 2 hours. Strain out basil and add the lemon and sugar to the orange juice. Stir to dissolve sugar and refrigerate overnight. To prepare the mimosa, fill a glass ½ to ¾ full with the flavoured orange juice. Fill the remainder of the glass with champagne or ginger ale and serve (makes 6 to 10 glasses).
