One of the perks of operating an organic delivery service is that we get to spend a LOT of time thinking about food! We were asked for a recipe with kiwi fruit, so here is what we came up with...

Ingredients

see below

Instructions

1. Heat 2 Tbsp oil in a small saucepan over medium heat.

2. Add 1 onion (chopped), 2 cloves garlic (crushed), 1 piece of ginger (diced), and 1-2 tsp curry powder or paste (your favorite blend). Saute 3-5 minutes to bring out the flavors.

3. Add 5 kiwi, 1 apple, and 1 pear (all peeled and chopped), along with 1 stick of cinnamon and 5 or 6 cloves (optional). Simmer on low until fuit is syrupy.

4. Remove from heat and stir in 2-4 Tbsp apple cider vinegar.

5. Chill and serve as a condiment to curry dishes with yogurt or raita.
