Are you looking for some ghoulish, unusual meals to serve around Halloween? Do you want to “gross-out” your kids with a special lunch on Halloween? Do you want to make sure your little goblins have a stomach full of nutritious foods before they start into their candy on Halloween night? Do you want to impress other adults with your creativity at Halloween parties? Have no fear; I have some ideas here:

**Cut hard-boiled eggs in half and remove yolks. Fill hole with cream cheese and press an olive into each half, red pimento up. Dip a toothpick in ketchup and draw broken blood vessels on these strained eyeballs.

**Form mashed potatoes into balls, bake at 160C for 20 minutes, spread with salsa, relish or ketchup and serve for bloody eyeballs.

**Lay half a peach or apple cut side down on a plate. Lay 8 strips of carrot out from the fruit, with two raisins for eyes, for a spider.

**Cuts the crusts off a piece of sandwich bread. Spread with peanut butter and jam and roll up for bones with marrow and blood.

**Serve rice with raisins for maggots and ants.

**Serve a bowl of Jell-O chunks with a glow stick underneath for toxic slime.
