This week's red potatoes (Apr 23-25 2019) will either be BC certified organic potatoes from Fraserland (lower mainland) OR they may be from Intentional Peasants in Edgewood BC (NOT cert org), as we will have potatoes coming from both sources (we don't have enough of Andy's gorgeous red potatoes from Intentional Peasants for all, so we are supplementing with BC organic red potatoes from Fraserland.
Intentional Peasants farm was certified organic for years before dropping their certification several years ago when Andy realized that most of his sales were very close to home and his customers knew and trusted him without the paperwork. Andy continues to farm in line with organic standards, but is not part of the certification program.
