Pears, Asian Mix (Shinseiki/Olympic)

Try two types of Asian pears this week! The Shinseiki pears have a pale yellow skin and a mildly sweet flavour with a crisp/juicy flesh and a very thin skin that is pleasant to eat. The Olympics are delicious and sweet and juicy as well, with a bronze skin that is best removed as it's a little tougher...or slice them thinly, so you don't get much skin at a time!
