Order multiples if you love fava beans!
Super fun to prepare with kids! They can help open the giant pods (fuzzy inside!), and remove the beans. Once you've lightly blanched/steamed the beans themselves and let them cool, kids love to help squeeze them out of their casing! The brilliant green beans inside are excellent eaten alone (we love them sauteed in a little garlic and olive oil!), in a pasta, on a pizza, in a stir fry...or wherever you find they fit! They can also be added to pesto - they add nicely to the texture and flavour!
