We typically ONLY include items that are certified organic in our standard box fare...but it's the end of the local storage season, and our local options are dwindling...and we really want to feature these potatoes grown just a couple of hours away in Edgewood BC. We've been buying Andy's potatoes for many years. Their farm used to be certified organic, but they dropped the certification as they sell almost all of their produce directly, and their customers trusted their practices, so they couldn't justify the expense of certifying. Their potatoes may not always be the prettiest, but they are delicious!
