Slice into thin ribbons, dip quickly into boiling water to soften (if you're cooking pasta, dip then remove the kale before adding your noodles, so your noodles can absorb some of the nutrients left behind in the cooking water!), then sautee with olive oil and garlic, and then add to...almost anything!
Here are some of my favourite ways to enjoy lacinato kale strips: over my morning eggs, tossed pasta (anything from fettucini alfredo to tortellini in marinara sauce!), served atop a curried squash soup (nothing like the combo of deep orange and deep green to nurture your senses!), added to lentil dahl, or stirred in to a warm autumn stew.
