Rutabaga (great food value!!)

Not sure you'll like rutabaga? Try steaming or boiling chunks of rutabaga until soft, and then mashing it on its own or with potatoes. For extra richness, add a bit of cream or milk and butter or olive oil, and/or roasted garlic, and/or herbal seasoning. Try heating this week's savoury herbs with the butter or oil to add flavour, then removing the herbs before mashing.
