In the October/November 2009 edition of the VIA Destinations magazine, writer John Lee explores the Okanagan and its allure for foodies. You can read it online at the ViaRail.ca site in PDF format. Included in the article are travel stops at the Kelowna s Farmer s Market, Carmelis, Okanagan Grocery, and Seven Six Four Restaurant. In another recent magazine feature, Kelowna s Chef Mark Filatow (Waterfront Wines/Seven Six Four) and Monika Walker (Okanagan Grocery) were also named to Western Living Magazine's second annual "Top 40 Foodies Under 40."
