Okanagan Grocery's bread special for our Feb 28=Mar 2 delivery week is Roasted Onion & Goat Cheese Flatbread. A thinly stretched sourdough flatbread, topped with a spread of goat cheese and roasted onions. Perfect served warm as an appetizer or side to a spinach salad.
Note! the OG special bread to be found at the Feb 25th Saturday Sale is German Bauernbrot – a dense, hearty rye sourdough loaf, inspired by Annelie Wagenstaller, a miller master from Germany. Best served at “Brotzeit” with charcuterie, pickles, and mustard.
