Please note! Strawberries are highly perishable. Please open your package before putting it away to check over the berries inside. Remove any that show signs of mold starting, and and/or eat any that have soft spots right away, to avoid spreading the spoilage. This will help to preserve the good berries for longer (if they last that long...in our house, they're gone in one sitting!).
Also, it is often possible to cut off a soft spot and enjoy the rest of the berry - unless it is actually mold, the flavour of the rest of the berry is usually just fine (and sometimes even better, as the riper berries offer a fuller flavour!).
If you do see more than one or two bad berries, please feel welcome to contact us *within 48 hours* for a partial or full credit (depending on the extent of the spoilage). Thank you!
NEW! Due to concerns around the 2-spotted fruit fly, please do NOT compost any strawberries that you will not be eating. For more information, please see the link on our home page titled Unwanted in the Okanagan Valley - Spotted Wing Drosophila. All imported fruit is inspected at the border and sent back if there are signs of infestation; however, this is an extra precaution.
